"We have to chart a new course for growth: based on skills, innovation and productivity"
—Minister for Finance, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Budget Speech 2010
Budget 2010 clearly pinpointed innovation as a key driver for Singapore’s continued economic success. Innovation is central to improving organisational development and efficiency. As new processes, technologies and media become more pervasive, there is increasing expectation that private sector agencies will reflect these advances in the way they interact with both individuals and businesses.
However, despite wide-spread agreement about the role of innovation as a strategic enabler, many within the organisations remain unclear about how best to harness and nurture innovation as a creative force for spearheading Singapore’s economy.
ESI International and AchieveGlobal cordially invite you to Leading Innovation in World Class Organisations – From Ideas to Execution. This half-day, invitation-only event will see leading experts in the fields of performance improvement, project management and human capital analytics discuss how innovation can be mobilised within the organisation to deliver improved strategies, services and economic outcomes.

Leading Innovation
While many of today’s leaders may argue that innovation is a core part of their strategy what does innovation really mean? What can be done to cultivate and implement pervasive innovation in your organisation? This session examines best practices to develop a structured and repeatable process to drive and lead innovation through:
• REVIEWING AchieveGlobal’s extensive research conducted in organisations with a track record of innovation success.
• UNDERSTANDING a step by step process to develop your organisation’s innovation quotient.
• EXPERIENCING a part of the innovative learning design which has been developed to create maximum learning impact.
Executing Innovation
Generating ideas to tackle existing or anticipated private sector issues has certainly been identified as a key means for sustaining competitive advantage. But this is only one half of the pervasive innovation ‘lifecycle’. Ideas need to be implemented in a coordinated way to deliver maximum benefits to the organisations. The second half of the innovation life cycle looks at:
• SELECTING and prioritising the best ideas to support agency strategy.
• PLANNING each individual idea using a step-by-step, scalable methodology.
• EXECUTING the plans with a good view on time, cost and benefits management.
Have your say and take part in the innovation movement.
We would like to request your participation in an online survey. Your response to this survey is important whether you carry out innovation activities or not. All information will be kept completely anonymous and to be used for research purposes only. Results will be shared during the event.
