The Global State of the PMO: It's Value, Effectiveness and Role as the Hub of Training
Presented by J. LeRoy Ward, PMP, PgMP

In March 2011, ESI International undertook an investigation into the global state of the PMO to determine its current perceived value, effectiveness and role as a hub of training. This presentation will share the findings, including answers to questions like: Do organizations even know whether their PMO is effective? Is it deemed valuable to the enterprise as a whole? Is the PMO really Centre of Excellence in which best practices are identified and made available to their project managers?

  • First showing: 9am US ET, 2pm UK, 6:30pm India, 9pm Singapore
  • Second showing: 4am US ET, 9am UK, 1:30pm India, 4pm Singapore

Supermodeling: The Value of Modeling Techniques
Presented by Glenn R. Brûlé, CBAP, CSM

The value that modeling brings to organizational initiatives is often overlooked. When used consistently with a structured and disciplined approach, modeling can prove to be critical to reaching organizational goals and objectives. During this presentation you will see a demonstration of how modeling can prove to be the nucleus of all other requirements activities including traceability, business rules and processes. You will also learn the hierarchal use of modeling throughout the project life cycle, quantify the benefits of modeling and why it’s critical to a project’s success and understand the risks if you do not implement modeling techniques.

  • First showing: 11am US ET, 4pm UK, 8:30pm India, 11pm Singapore
  • Second showing: 1am US ET, 6am UK, 10:30am India, 1pm Singapore

Winning the War For Talent - Developing And Maximising Your Project Managers’ Competencies
Presented by Ravi Sahi, PMP

It is absolutely necessary to consider the ongoing development of the project managers. Instead of asking "What if we train them and they leave?", the more pertinent question is, "What if we don’t train them and they stay?" This presentation will help you develop a deeper understanding of what "competency" means, understand 5 easy-to-adopt steps to success and learn the benefits your organisation can achieve through PM competencies development.

  • First showing: 1pm US ET, 6pm UK, 10:30pm India, 1am Singapore
  • Second showing: 11pm US ET, 4am UK, 8:30am India, 11am Singapore
